Claude 6 is the next generation of Anthropic's Claude models. It follows the Claude 5 family, which Anthropic completed in autumn 2026: Claude Fable 5.1 on September 1, Claude Opus 5.5 on September 22, Claude Sonnet 5.5 on September 28 and Claude Haiku 5.5 on October 7
Like every Claude generation since Claude 3, Claude 6 comes as a family of Opus, Sonnet and Haiku models. Anthropic is building its largest compute yet for its next models: up to 5 GW of Amazon Trainium chips and several gigawatts of Google TPUs from 2027
