Emu 3.5 and ChronoEdit — New Image Models Now Available on Overchat AI
We've just added two very interesting image-generation models to Overchat AI: Meta's Emu 3.5 and NVIDIA's ChronoEdit.
Emu 3.5 is a text-to-image and image-to-image generator. It excels at creating readable text and produces exceptionally photorealistic images, though generating an image takes up to six minutes.
ChronoEdit is Nvidia's image editor. It is similar to Nano Banana in a sense that you can make changes to parts of an image without affecting the rest. ChronoEdit claims to be physically accurate and able to produce natural-looking results.
Unlike the Emu 3.5, the Chrono Edit is fast and inexpensive to run, costing only five credits. So, Overchat AI's model line just expanded to include models at opposite ends of the spectrum.
Both models are now available in Overchat AI's image tools, and you can access them online, no installation or setup is required.
Emu 3.5 is Meta's 34-billion parameter image generation model. It handles both text-to-image and image-to-image workflows.
The model was trained on over 13 trillion multimodal tokens, primarily from video frames and transcripts. This training gives it a strong understanding of how objects, lighting, and text should appear in realistic scenes.
The model can generate dense English and Chinese text, mathematical formulas, and complex layouts without the typical AI artifacts.
Emu 3.5 produces images up to 2048 pixels resolution with clean lighting and realistic materials.
Emu 3.5 accepts single or multiple images as input.
You can edit images by describing what you want to see in plain English.
Here’s how Emu 3.5 compares to Nano Banana:
For this generation, this prompt was used:
“Generate a blue-hour photograph of a beautiful mountain village landscape in the Alps with traces of sunset colors in the clouds. Select lights that are already on in the village. Shoot in the style of Elia Locardi: beautiful composition, professional-quality landscape photography, ultra-realistic, 4K quality, and natural, detailed textures.”
What is ChronoEdit?
ChronoEdit is NVIDIA's image editing model that treats editing as a video generation problem.
Instead of directly transforming one image into another, ChronoEdit imagines intermediate frames showing how objects would naturally move or change to reach the desired state.
The model sort of thinks how objects in the scene would more around and interact with light and shadow, which creates more natural and predictable results.
ChronoEdit’s biggest strength is physics: changing weather conditions, adjusting lighting, adding or removing objects, or modifying materials all benefit from its temporal reasoning.
Example generation:
Cost and Pricing
Let’s talk about how much the models cost to run on Overchat AI:
Emu 3.5 Cost and Pricing
Generating an image with Emu 3.5 costs 100 credits per image. This price is high for an image model, but the 4-6 minute generation time and high quality make it more of a niche tool.
ChronoEdit
With ChronoEdit, generating an edited version of an image costs just 5 credits, making it one of the most affordable image editing models on the platform.
Where to Access These Models

We just added two new, very different image generation models to Overchat AI: Emu 3.5 and ChronoEdit. Meta's Emu 3.5 is a new image generation model that the company believes sets a new standard for photorealism in AI.
That being said, Emu 3.5's generation time of 4-6 minutes makes it slower than the Nano Banana and Qwen Image Edit models. It’s also much more expensive to run, so it’s up to you to decide if that's worth it.
On balance, ChronoEdit costs just 5-credits and generates images exceptionally fast, which makes it more practical when you need to iterate quickly, or want to save credits.
